If you are looking for a player or a team for the Spring or Fall Season(s), there is a better way than to post on the Exchange!
Please read through everything below and THEN decide how best to find a player for your team, or find a team to play on! The volunteers who help WAWSL teams and players find each other would really appreciate it!
Also, please remember to delete your post when you find what you're looking for!
Good Ways to Use the Exchange
Lost and Found: If you lost or found an item at the field, please post a message here to get the item back to its owner.
Finding a Player or Team for a Tournament: If you're trying to form a team for a tournament or looking for a tournament team, you can post a message here.
Summer Session Team Recruitment: If you're a team rep that needs more players for the summer season, or a new player looking for a summer team, you can post here. Because WAWSL's New Player Coordinators do not assign players for the summer, this is a good place to start. To get players for the spring and fall seasons, however, you should follow directions below.
When NOT to use the Exchange
If you're a new player looking to join a team during the fall or spring season, you shouldn't post on the Exchange.
Instead, you should go to our "How to Join" page and fill out the New Player Form so that WAWSL's New Player Coordinators can try to place you on a team. If the Coordinators place you on a team but you also find one on the Exchange, things get confusing and complicated and you could end up with no team at all.
So please use the New Player Form to find a Spring or Fall team!
If you are a team rep looking for players during the fall or spring season, you shouldn't post on the Exchange. Instead, send an email to our new player coordinators at email@example.com and let them know which team and division you are on, how many players you need, and which position(s).
NOTICE: The WAWSL Board reserves the right to delete inappropriate items from our website. We are not responsible for public posted items, but we do monitor the activity on our Exchange board.
Unsolicited advertisements will typically be pulled. However, you can get information on advertising to WAWSL players on our website by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
