Fields are located on the strip of grass between the Lincoln Memorial's reflecting pool and Independence Avenue, #1 is closest to the Lincoln Memorial and #3 is closest to the Washington Monument.

By Metro:  Closest metros are Smithsonian or Foggy Bottom (a 20 minute walk in either case).  Faragut North (red line) or Faragut West are a 25 minute walk.  Biking to the field is also enjoyable and recommended.

By Bus: It′s also possible to take metrobus to get within walking distance of the field.  Use www.wmata.com to plan your trip.  The closest bus stops are at 1700 Constitution Ave NW or 1400 Independence Ave SW.

Driving and Parking Directions

Parking: Parking is scarce after 10am. If you have to drive, your best bet for parking is alongside Ohio Dr, West Basin Dr, or on the north side of the Mall near 18th Street and C Street.  These areas are marked on the map below.  Leave lots of time to look for a spot.

From NW DC: Take the Rock Creek Parkway south. After the Kennedy Center, stay in the left lane. Veer right at the sign for FDR memorial parking. Alternatively, go south on 14th Street, and take a right onto Independence Avenue. Stay straight until you see signs for FDR parking. Go left at the light (following signs for FDR). Park.

From Virginia: Go across the 14th Street bridge (Route 1 off of 395). After crossing Independence (no left turn, alas), go left on Madison Drive, towards the Washington Monument. Take another left at the monument and then a right onto Independence. You will pass the fields on your right. Take a left onto Ohio Drive (FDR Memorial parking) and look for parking.

From I-66: Take the Independence Avenue exit after you cross the bridge into DC. Go right on Ohio Drive and park.

Goals

If you have the last game of the day, you are responsible for locking up the goals to the fence on the west end of the fields (summer season) or moving the goals to the side of the field near the National Park Service stables (spring and fall season)
